However, the actual capacity has not changed – the difference is simply due to the different testing procedure. First off let me just say this unit is a beast, extremely powerful and efficient. It can cool most rooms down very quickly and heat them fast too.The downsides though are that the unit isn't very smart, coming from a Hisense ac unit prior, this unit is extremely basic. The deck lid is manual, the remote is mehhh because sometimes it takes multiple button presses to work and doesn't tell you the temp. Also and this is a major one, the unit is extremely bright. The light it puts out is insane. And it has no dimming feature. I'd recommend putting some tint over the lights.Other than that it seems built very well and has cooled rooms with temps over 100°f outside and heated rooms at -15 outside.Overall a good unit

All of that said, it cooled our room all summer.One of my concerns when I was looking at this unit was the water drain. We live in a costal area with moderately high humidity. We have only drained the unit twice. Once because it was full and the second time when cleaning the filters etc.
